Casual Employment at Boddington Bauxite Mine

BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina is the joint venture operation of BHP Billiton, Japan Alumina Associates and Sojitz Alumina. As a member of the world’s largest diversified resources company, Worsley manages a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in Western Australia’s South West and offers candidates an enviable choice of lifestyle, based in the state’s picturesque South West.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for hard working, motivated individuals who are seeking casual employment. The successful applicants will be responsible for:

* Gate Attending
* Noise Monitoring
* Assist the Production department in tasks such as general repairs and cleaning machinery
* Providing assistance to the Environmental department in tasks such as seeding, planting and setting up research trials.

At a minimum, applicants are required to have a current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence. The successful applicant must be available to work flexible hours, including days and nights, 7 days a week. As this employment is on a casual basis your hours of work will vary as determined by business need. Although not essential, previous work in the mining industry would be desirable.
