Opportunities within the Asset Development Projects (ADP) team are extensive and present the ability to enhance your mining expansion project expertise within a world class projects group well regarded and extensively recognised for our knowledge and technology.
Under the leadership of the Study and Execution Directors, the ADP team will undertake the study, planning and execution of our next suite of major capital investments. The Deputy Project Manager Non-Process Infrastructure will work with the Project Managers responsible for specific mine, rail and port projects across the suite of projects to deliver the non-process requirements of the program. You will provide technical input into the design process; review all formal project documentation and ensure standards are maintained and consistency of delivery ensured in the areas of water supply, fuel facilities, accommodation, transport, industrial buildings, power and communication.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a blend of design and construction experience, in major earthworks and infrastructure projects, ideally with a solid ten years experience in the resources sector, in both client and consulting roles. Through your experience you will have gained high level engineering and technical capacities, with strong understanding of statutory requirements, sound decision making skills and demonstrate a proactive practical approach. Representing the Owners Team you will require excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills, ability to think and plan strategically and lead others to success and a strong achievement focus.
