Our most recent growth project, Rapid Growth Project 5, will take installed capacity at our Western Australian Iron Ore operations to 205mpta by the second half of calendar year 2011.
Position Synopsis
Reporting to the Manager Asset Reliability, the Principal Advisor - Long Term Planning will develop, implement and govern policies, procedures and standards for maintenance tactics in WAIO. A key element of this role will also be to coordinate and govern the development of the 5 year life of asset plans.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop, implement and maintain standards and procedures for maintenance tactics in WAIO;
* Develop and govern document standards for maintenance tactics;
* Develop, implement and maintain WAIO approach to long term and LOA planning;
* Lead 5yr planning steering committee;
* Develop, implement and maintain process to transfer 5yr plan from OPEX to CAPEX; and
* Ownership of the maintenance tactic library for WA Iron Ore.
Skills and Experience
Degree qualified in Engineering, you must have extensive maintenance experience in heavy industry and substantial reliability engineering experience. Your proven portfolio of skills includes Life Cycle Costing, RCA, Condition Monitoring and FMECA.
The individual we require is a superior performer, capable of translating complexity into simple terms with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders. Proficiency in SAP and an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and community is a must.
