Position Synopsis
As Principal Advisor Business Systems within the Asset Reliability and Sustaining Capital team, this role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced advisor, seeking a challenging role that will provide valuable insight into the Asset Management processes across Western Australian Iron Ore (WAIO). Reporting to the Manager Asset Reliability, your key accountability is for the development, improvement, implementation and governance of all activities related to the Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and other reliability information systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Improvement, deployment and governance of WAIO Asset Reliability metrics, including WMKPI’s, BPC’s and outcome KPI reporting;
* Governance and maintenance of GSAP;
* Governance and maintenance of reliability decision tools; and
* Develop and manage budgets.
Skills and Experience
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, professional systematic approach and advanced multi-tasking capabilities are critical success factors to this role, as you will become the subject matter expert for the CMMS module and work across the business with multiple teams.
You will have a strong database and project management background, along with extensive experience with SAP, either from a project implementation or operational improvement perspective.
Significant experience in a maintenance planning, supervision or continuous improvement role, combined with a strong understanding of organisational change principles, will enhance your suitability for this challenging opportunity. A trade or planning background or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, are desirable.
