Well establish energy company is seeking a degreed Design Engineer with 3-5 years design exp for a direct hire position in Oak Ridge, TN. Candidate will provide expert engineering input while performing complex and unique engineering assignments in the R&D arena.. Bachelors degree in a technical field; Mechanical Engineering preferred. Preference will be given to applicants currently holding an active DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities:

-> Candidate will work with the mechanical design and testing teams by focusing on the development and documentation of improved mechanical design methods

Requirements:

-> Candidate must have 5+ years as a mechanical designer using Pro/Engineer
-> BSME (pref) or other engineering degree
-> DOE Q-level security clearance a plus
-> Proficient with MathCAD or similar analytical software a plus
