Engineering & Construction Consulting firm is looking to hire a Substation Engineers (Relay Engineer) with 10+ years of experience performing substation protection, control and communications design for high voltage electrical substation projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Develop one line and schematic diagrams for High Voltage 345 to 500 kv - Substations, and switchyard construction
-> Develop project scope, proposals, estimates, and budgets
-> Develop engineering documents, specifications, and procedures
-> Coordinate installation and commissioning with clients, and subcontractors

Requirements:

-> BSEE or higher Required PE Registration or eligible to sit for PE Preferred
-> 10+ years of United States Based experience designing high voltage - 345-500 kv - substations
-> Substation grounding design experience for outdoor substation / switchyard equipment, fence, etc
-> Experiences in relays, SCADA, relays, setting, fault studies, etc

Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have a BSEE or higher? PE Registration or eligible to sit for PE?

• Do you have 10+ years of United States Based experience designing high voltage - 345-500 kv - substations? If so, please briefly highlight your experience, i.e. when, where, for who, etc.

• Do you have Experience with outdoor Substation physical design, i.e. switchyard, hardware, bus, connectors, PT, Line trap, HV switches, insulators, lightning arresters, etc., for outdoor HV equipment, Station Services, etc.

• Please tell us about your project management experience.

• Where do you live now? What is your most recent salary?
