Telecommunications Engineer - Wireless Telecom/Project Engineer 31-32 $/hr

Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Telecommunications Engineer / Project Engineer with a background in the engineering and construction of Wireless Telecom projects. This is a contract assignment in Las Vegas, NV. Please apply and answer questions for immediate consideration. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities:

-> Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of engineering work for an assigned portion of a major project or the total project of moderate scope
-> Supervises the engineering work of assigned Drafters, Designers, and subordinate Engineers. This includes work assignments, scheduling and review
-> Develops alternate methods, techniques or design concepts as required to resolve unique design problems. Coordinates with personnel in other departments, project managers and client personnel to review designs and resolve areas of concern
-> Performs special studies or analyses involving review, research calculation, selection, etc., to develop required reports
-> Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements
-> Will be required to coordinate/schedule POs with subs (Surveyor, Geotech, Enviro., etc.)
-> Will be responsible for the overall cost control of the engineering work
-> A plus to have Able to communicate technical issues well too Municipalitys or other Governing authorities

Requirements:

-> Minimum of 5 years of experience performing engineering related duties
-> Must have a strong background in wireless projects (engineering and construction)
-> Must have a strong technical background in wireless
-> Must be in place to work with local authorities for project approvals (zoning, special use permits, etc.)
-> A plus to have Structural experience and be able to do site visits and evaluate existing conditions of the site and foresee potential site conflicts

• Are you local to the Las Vegas, NV area?

• How many years of engineering or project engineering experience do you have with telecommunications wireless projects?

• Please detail some of your project experience, engineering and construction of wireless projects. (detailed engineering, project engineering, supervising subordinate design staff, scheduling PO-s with subcontractors, working with local authorities for zoning and permit approvals, field visits, etc..)

• Any Structural experience doing site visits and evaluating existing conditions to foresee site conflicts (a plus)? Please elaborate.
