Aerotek is currently seeking for three dynamic full time machine operators for one of the largest companies in the U.S. which specializes in the manufacturing of drill bits for mining and drilling exploration. The Machine operators must have a stable work history! and at least 2-4 years of experience working in a machine shop. The candidates for this position will need to have good math skills (addition/subtraction multiplication and division) and very good hand-eye coordination. This person will also have experience with Calipers and basic blueprints. Their main responsibilities will be to run CNC machines and make sure that the parts machined are quality made, the machine operator will be also be asked to set tiny stones (low grade diamonds) and magnets on the bits using tweezers. The machine operator will be also in charge of finishing, assembling and cleaning of the drill bits.
These positions are swing shift, M-F, 3PM-11:30PM + some OT.
The candidates must be willing to submit to a drug and criminal background check.
