Immediate start Inner-City role National construction company
With operations around the country including construction, facilities management and property investment,our client is seeking an Environmental Coordinator for an immediate start.
Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will be required to perform a range of data collection and reporting activities across the disciplines of energy, water and waste. Specifically, your tasks will be:
Collect and collate electricity, gas and water consumption data for all owned facilities and managed leases, including data held by tenantsPerform energy, waste and water audits on a range of CBD-based buildings
Collect and collate electricity interval energy data files (15 or 30 minute data) for all owned and leased property on a monthly basisProvide energy and water consumption reports including costs and raw data to EMS CoordinatorsWork with Departmental EMS Coordinators to identify and monitor energy saving initiatives, improvement actions and reduction targets in line with or better than Government requirementsCooperate with Stakeholder Departments on rolling out education programs and materials that promote waste reductionAs the perfect person for this organisation you will have:
A positive and outgoing attitude along with an amiable personality.Essential will be a degree in Environmental Engineering or ScienceSome experience in auditing to greenstar or a equivalent rating
Minimum 1 years related experienceAny experience in sustainability, auditing or waste management will be highly regarded. In return, our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for to enter a major construction company at the ground-level. You will be given full training in a variety of areas including ESD and reporting. The medium-term goal for this position is a promotion to an Environmental Manager role with direct reports.
