Technician - Calibration/Test/Laboratory

A Worldwide Company is searching for 3 Calibration Technicians for its Eastern Texas location. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Perform calibrations and test equipment
-> Keep things flowing with a wide variety of general purpose test equipment
-> Assess what standards and accessories are needed from an equipment list in order to tool up for a job assignment
-> Travel to assigned projects to calibrate company equipment
-> Check the scope for existing capabilities and calculate test uncertainty ratios
-> Make templates/data sheets

Requirements:

-> A High School Diploma or GED
-> Calibration certification
-> PMEL/TMDE experience
-> A minimum of 3 years 3rd party commercial calibration laboratory experience
-> Sourcing and validating calibration procedures experience
-> Working knowledge in ANSI-Z540-I-1994, ISO 9001-2000, and ISO/IEC 17025
-> Understand proficiency testing and certification requirements
-> Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, hot sticks, megohmeters, crimp tools, torque tools, static testers, pressure modules, weigh scales, power supplies, and hand tooling
-> Ability to work well under pressure
