International Engineering Company requires an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a team involved in the design of processing plants. Based in the UK, duties will involve leading functional input to small projects and carry out engineering tasks as part of a large project team. Specify and procure equipment to meet project requirements and carry out commissioning activities at client sites as required, to ensure successful engineering handover. Ensure that work complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree, at least 4 years design experience and have a good knowledge of fluid handling (pumps, valves, tanks), mechanical handling and E,C&I and Civil Engineering requirements.
Previous experience in the nuclear and petrochemical industries would be an advantage.
