This company provides of turnkey Electrical Automation & Controls Projects engineering and technology projects for infrastructure; manufacturing; utilities; and metals, mining & minerals at both a national and regional level... They are a leader in SCADA, RTU's, PLC, MES, DCS and related technology projects. They have an extensive range of engineering skills and expertise providing advanced technologies and innovative solutions for their markets which include OEM's & End Users such as mining, utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, transport and petro-chem.

They now need a razor-sharp business development professional to manage and grow their multi-million dollar business and strategically manage the future growth of business in Australia and potentially into Asia. Your target market is predominantly vertical, depending on the solutions and decision makers are mainly C-level who can make large-scale decisions.

Reporting to head office your role is to:

Manage the whole sales cycle from lead generation, identification of client requirements, qualification of the requirements and closing the deal, and through to application roll out. Strategic business growth through sound management and effective business actions.Relationship development, maintaining high-level customer relationships; new business sales through strategy development and leadershipProvide input to project and engineering teams for forecast projects.Work in association with State Managers, finance and administration teams to ensure accurate monthly business forecastsYour qualifications, experience and attributes will include:

Engineering degree and ideally post-graduate business qualifications SCADA, RTU's, PLC, MES, DCS and related project management and/or project salesSkills identifying, developing and closing throughout the entire sales cycles at high levelsAbilities to strengthen and maintain key strategic relationships and alliancesSolid knowledge proposal and tender management that wins businessStrategic and innovative thinker Technically minded and commercially aware Ability for converting inventive concepts into realistic business revenue Capacity to deal with complex issues, to multiple tasks and be results oriented Experience at a national level driving business revenue & profitabilityTeam minded and an outstanding communicator Critical Experience: Engineering background and qualifications (prefer Electrical Engineering Degree), successful selling technical projects, services and solutions throughout Australia and into Asia to the OEM's and End User markets, Knowledge of PLC's, SCADA, RTU and/or related technology and applications, Strong communication & negotiation skills, Skills identifying, developing and closing throughout the entire sales cycles, Abilities to strengthen and maintain key relationships with a proven track record in projects / solution sales
