Sr. Business Development Analyst needed for full-time employment with a large producing company in north Houston, TX. The successful candidate will have a geology background and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or geophysics and a minimum of ten years industry experience including project generation, economic analysis, planning, and supervision. Responsibilities include managing contract personnel and consultants to complete evaluations and close transactions, collaborating with negotiations team to support deal structure, and monitoring and tracking resource play activity. Other responsibilities include integrating the latest technical information into company analyses, managing the procurement of technical data, and coordinating with exploration and business unit personnel to ensure optimal use of data and resources. Requirements include experience with M&A negotiations, evaluating reservoir characteristics, and running acquisitions economics.
