Location: Sacramento, CA, USA
International Real Estate company is actively searching for a Building Engineer / Stationary Engineer with experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Plumbing for a low-rise (5 story) commercial/office building in the Sacramento, CA, area.

Responsibilities:

-> Operating and maintaining all building equipment and systems
-> Performing preventive maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC related equipment
-> Troubleshoot operations failures and re-establish building services under minimal supervision
-> Supervise maintenance work as needed

Requirements:

-> High school diploma or equivalent
-> Two or more years experience in commercial HVAC, Refrigeration, and Commercial building construction
-> Strong mechanical aptitude
-> Strong customer service orientation and the ability to professionally respond to tenant requests

Questions you will be asked:

• These questions are directly from the hiring manager and MUST BE answered for you to be considered. What trades do you excel at and are most comfortable? What trades do you think are needed to maintain office buildings? How many years of experience do you have performing-hands on- maintenance or installation of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration? Please explain.

• Describe what a BMS system & sequence of ops is and its function. Describe how you would respond to a hot-cold call request. What would you check step by step?

• Please list the major HVAC components of a commercial office building. Please list the major components of a DDC VAV box.

• Describe your experience with fire sprinkler & monitoring systems, the difference between a supervisory & trouble fire alarm & response.

• What is your current salary? What is your minimum salary requirement? What is your commuting distance from downtown Sacramento?
