Stationary Engineer - Auxiliary/Boiler/Operations 25-28 $/hr

Auxiliary Operator work involved at a new energy systems facility near Frederick, MD. Must live within 1 hour of site for shift coverage. Must be open to working different shifts at times or Dupont schedule (shift coverage to be determined).

Responsibilities:

-> Initial work will be related to current operations. And, other work will be involved with start up and commissioning activities for site related to new expansion
-> Working closely with a Lead Plant Operator with a Grade 1 Stationary Engineer License on different rotating shifts

Requirements:

-> State of Maryland Grade 3 Stationary Engineer License is mandatory for this Auxiliary Boiler Operator position
-> Must have proven working knowledge of following: HVAC systems (chillers, boilers and associated auxiliary equipment), operations and monitoring equipment, auxiliary equipment field maintenance, and backup electrical generator building systems
-> Proven boiler tendering and operations is a must
-> Must have a solid knowledge of building automation instrumentation, controls, and general facility repair is needed
-> Duties involve: Work in a safe manner - Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters and charts registering various aspects of the system's operation - Adjust controls to ensure safe and efficient operation of the system - Meet demands for the services provided - Perform weekly tests of backup electrical generators - PM on machinery and equipment through provided schedules

• Do you have a State of Maryland Grade 3 Stationary Engineer License ? What is the license number ? When did you gain this License ? When is the renewal date ?

• Describe your proven work experience with operations of boilers (boiler tendering) and associated HVAC systems (chillers, boilers and all auxiliary equipment) ?

• Explain your knowledge of building automation instrumentation, controls, and general facility repair ?

• Do you or can you live within one hour of site (near Frederick, MD) for this long term employment opportunity and work rotating shifts ?
