Telecommunications Technician - Telecom/Avaya Systems/Support 20-24 $/hr

World wide leader of medical products and services is seeking a Telecommunications Systems Support Analyst for a 8+ month contract assignment in Duluth, GA.

Responsibilities:

-> Candidate will provide on-site support for systems including PBX/Voicemail account creation/deletion, audio conference account setup, hardware troubleshooting, inventory management, and related project support
-> Candidate will serve as the on-site contact for vendor access and management, VIP desk side support for telephony, hardware installation, voice network (carrier services) support, call accounting administration, miscellaneous system administration

Requirements:

-> Required - Administration and maintenance skills for Avaya systems including: Communication Manager, G3, CMS, Intuity
-> Must have the ability to call in tickets on circuit issues and work to resolution
-> Fundamental understanding of telephony including hardware, dial plans, call flow, Telco interconnects, toll free services, call accounting, DS1, etc
-> Basic understanding of IP telephony fundamentals and IP Networking
-> Some intermediate PBX programming desired, e.g. basic vectors, irregular station programming, complex coverage paths
-> Additional skills: NICE, Witness, eCas, and any other support experience including Nortel, Siemens, Cisco, etc helpful
