Administrative Assistant - 1SAP Implementation Project

The company-wide 1SAP Project has been established to deliver these outcomes. It is a company-led initiative aimed at transforming BHP Billiton and the way we work. 1SAP will establish a common set of effective global processes, data and metrics supported by a single, integrated system providing the information and means to manage the business effectively in a decentralised environment. This will deliver performance transparency which will facilitate the transfer of best practice across BHP Billiton. BMA’s vision is that the 1SAP Program will transform the business through embedding common, efficient and effective core processes, data, metrics and operating discipline delivered through the single integrated 1SAP system. Together these elements constitute a new way of doing things - The BHP Billiton Way.

Supporting the 1SAP Project Implementation Team, we are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant. Specific responsibilities will include the following:

* Providing general administrative / secretarial support
* Conducting visitor safety inductions
* Coordinating relevant functions and meetings
* Coordination of departmental travel and expense management
* Diary management
* Visa / Amex reconciliation
* Organising catering / stationary supplies
* Meetings minutes / mail distribution
* Power point presentation development

The successful applicant will have previous administrative experience within project based environments. You will be self motivated and proactive within fast turnaround environments. Displaying initiative, you will be a strong communicator, comfortable with people management, whilst having the ability to successfully liaise with relevant senior level managers.

With exceptional time management skills, you will have demonstrated working knowledge of PowerPoint / MS Publisher / MS Outlook / MS Word / MS Excel & Access. A demonstrable commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Community and comfort working within a team environment is essential.
