POSITION SYNOPSIS
Reporting to the Financial Controller - Marketing, your primary responsibilities will be Marketing’s centralised Performance reporting and analysis and annual Overhead Cost and PRP Budgeting and Forecasting process. The position will also play a vital role in the preparation and ongoing enhancement of reporting, analysis, and business performance planning and the dissemination of this information, to both senior Marketing management and respective Trading Marketing Units (TMU’s). The position will also support the Financial Controller in the preparation of the Marketing 5 Year Business Plan & Marketing Appraisals.
Your specific accountabilities will include:
• An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
• Co-ordination of the annual PRP and Overhead budget process including final presentation
• Preparation and analysis of monthly PRP and Overhead Cost Reports, including forecasting
• Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of Marketing Delivery and Strategy Appraisals, and 5 Year Business Plan
• Further develop and enhance Marketing’s suite of reports to improve our reporting capability and effectiveness
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Degree qualified in Accounting/ Commerce/ Business with 5+ years post graduate experience, you will have substantial management accounting/ finance experience and highly developed analytical skills. Well organised and approachable, you will display excellent communication skills and have a solid track record of process improvement. Computer literate, SAP experience highly recommended.
