Saraji is a large open cut coal operation which utilises a fleet of draglines and truck/shovel fleets to expose, haul and produces in excess of 7.0M tonnes of export hard coking coal per annum. We currently have a vacancy at Saraji Mine for a suitably qualified Dragline Supervisor to join our team. You will play a leading role in ensuring that the dragline and supporting dozer activities are effectively planned and coordinated to enable the continuity of stripping operations within the mine operations section.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate:
* An absolute commitment to work safely, comply with all site safety standards, compliance with mine working procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace
* Previous supervisory experience (draglines and dozer stripping supervisory experience will be highly regarded)
*
A sound knowledge of Dragline mechanical and electrical systems
* Proven ability to lead and develop both individual and team capability through constructive and encouraging leadership
* Well developed written and verbal skills and the interpersonal skills to enable effective interactions with production and maintenance orientated personnel
* Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Mine Planning Engineers
* An ability to plan, organise and coordinate a variety of tasks within a changing environment
* Computer literacy with the Microsoft suite of programs
* Effective application of dragline operating methods that strive to achieve high performance
* Ability to evaluate and disseminate Tritronics data
The following qualifications and experience, will be highly regarded:
* Full suite of operating skills (Black Coal Competency Standard)
* Experience in draglines and dozer stripping
* Utilising safety management systems and programmes including First Priority Enterprise and Tritronics
