An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join the Worsley team. This exciting role will focus on managing electrical / instrument reliability issues utilising data analysis and cause & effect techniques, and providing technical support to the front line E/I maintenance technicians. Key job tasks will also include commissioning electrical / instrument projects and complex control equipment, maintaining process control computer systems, Honeywell DCS Systems, Modicon PLC’s, ABB VSD drives, and providing technical support for process shutdowns and maintenance reliability programs.
To be successful in this role you will possess a current WA ‘A’ grade electrical licence or interstate equivalent. Applicants currently working towards a Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering will be highly regarded. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of PLC / DCS, faultfinding and diagnosis of instrumentation and high / medium / low voltage installations.
