As the Process Improvement Specialist for Adelaide Financial Services, you will use your superior process improvement and project management tools and techniques to plan and deliver projects on time, to meet objectives at agreed quality standards. At the same time you will implement change strategies that energise stakeholders into ‘breakthrough’ thinking that aids the acceptance of innovative business solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the process improvement (PI) process and education of staff;
* Continuing to develop PI methodologies and toolsets to best fit the business;
* Striving for best practice processes and change management;
* Providing guidance and assistance to Initiative Managers and team members, and applying expert and practical knowledge of Process Improvement tools, procedures and methodologies;
* Assessing requirements, producing project plans, and managing multiple projects at one time;
* Monitoring and reporting on the status of milestones and key elements of improvement activities, as well as analysing and identifying possible improvements in project outcomes or approach; and
* Managing customer relationships and expectations in relation to the delivery of process improvements.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and results oriented environment. Excellent facilitation and workshop skills are required, as well as strong leadership and the ability to influence.
Skills and Experience
To be successful you will have:
* Proven process improvement and project management skills working in a multi-project environment with the ability to deliver to deadlines.
* Considerable process improvement and project management experience (six sigma, specifically LEAN would be highly regarded).
* Prioritisation skills including capacity to plan, organise, and exercise sound judgement.
* Proven experience in issue resolution, risk and change management.
* Ability to directly and indirectly manage and motivate a diverse and cross-functional team to achieve project goals.
You can come from any industry background, but knowledge and experience of financial services would be beneficial. Formal qualifications in Business or Project management related disciplines would be desirable. If all of the above describes you, then we would like to hear from you!
