Location: Australia With the continued growth of Woodside in the North West, the requirement to attract, retain and develop a workforce that meets our capability needs has never been greater. Working on the Karratha Gas Plant (KGP), which is operated by Woodside on behalf of the North West Shelf Venture (NWSV), this role is essential in the day to day operation and efficiency of the Karratha based HR team.
Reporting to and supporting the HR manager, this role provides both tactical and some strategic advice to line management to enable the achievement of the key outcomes of KGP's business plan. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to excel by delivering on the key accountabilities of this role, some of which are listed below.
* Ensuring adherence and compliance with Woodside's HR policies, procedures and systems
* Providing guidance and counsel to Management, Team Leaders and Supervisors
* Delivering on HR projects
* Encouraging and developing a high performance culture
* Participating in the interface with the Perth based HR teams, providing site based assistance as required
* Seeking areas for continuous improvement and standardisation across the KGP and the wider HR arena in Woodside
Qualifications, Skills and experience
* Extensive operational knowledge of contemporary HR
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
* Significant exposure to human resources, employee and industrial relations
* Sound knowledge of employment law
* Exceptional influencing skills
* Ability to quickly establish strong, productive and credible work relationships with line management
The Human Resources team acts as a united function to the business and is therefore seeking individuals that are team orientated, display corporate citizenship and align with the wider HR community within Woodside. A strong commitment to safety with exceptional organisational and communication skills is also desirable. Previous experience in a similar site based role will be highly sought after.
