Rotating Equipment Engineers - Karratha Gas Plant

Join Woodside as a Rotating Equipment Engineer and have the opportunity to work with the best. This role provides day to day technical support to the Maintenance and Operations Group in the area of Rotating Equipment focusing on bad actors. You will also be in a coordinating role between the Maintenance, Operations and Condition Monitoring groups.

Key accountabilities include:

* Provide frontline support to the Maintenance & Operations groups with regard to the Rotating Equipment of the Karratha Gas Plant.
* Provide QA support during major equipment overhauls.
* Responsible for supporting the effective application of the Condition Monitoring program (on-line and off-line).
* Identify solutions & remedial actions for bad actor equipment.
* Participate in R.E. reliability studies and Root Cause Analyses as required.
* Participate in the production Trip Team group as a Rotating Equipment representative.
* Improve RE knowledge and experience in all levels of the Engineering, Maintenance and Operations Departments, thereby raising the level of RE competence within these groups.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

* A bachelor degree or associate diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
* Demonstrate good planning and establish communication between stakeholders to achieve optimum production.
* Demonstrated experience (5+ years) within the oil and gas industry. Direct experience with rotating equipment would be highly regarded.
* Willingness for long term career in rotating Equipment

A strong commitment to safety with strong organisational and communication skills is also very desirable. Proven experience in a similar role will be highly sought after.
