Location: Libya
Large operator requires an experienced Site Project Engineer for their Operations / Facilities department, to start early January 2010 on a 4/4 rotation.
The Project Engineer will serve as a technical interface between the project teams, particularly project management, engineering, Third Party inspectors, field staff and contractors.
The tasks comprise as well site supervision for major projects as for smaller projects also engineering and design.
Key requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction and specific involvement in major process facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of international specifications, codes and standards with a knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and design details.
- Experience in oil & gas operations, including water/gas injection, crude oil & gas processing and gas compression experience.
- Knowledge of artificial lift technology appreciated.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (German or Arabic is a bonus).
