Location: UK
Subsurface Manager required for operator in Aberdeen. Start date TBC, this will be a permanent staff position based in their Aberdeen office.
Overall responsibility for all Subsurface aspects of company�s Operated portfolio. To work with Operate Business Delivery Unit (OBDU) Manager and Functional teams within the UK organisation to maximise value to company from these key fields. To screen and evaluate incremental projects (Infill well & tieback opportunities). Managing a team of up to 15 technical professionals.
Key Requirements:
- Acknowledged expertise and experience in North Sea basins, plays and reservoirs (expected to be recognised as a professional and industry leader in functional area for Principal Consultant level).
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplined teams in an international matrix environment.
- Delivery of operated well programmes.
- Ability to influence at highest level in company, JVs and governments.
- Experience working as Operator leading a significant joint venture would be an advantage.
- Experienced VAF (Value Assurance Framework) practitioner.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to determine the approximate impact of each issue quickly to prioritise further work.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to effectively influence at all levels both internally and externally.
- Highly effective communicator (written and oral).
