The Job
Primary responsibilities include:

Provision of technical leadership in specialised areas of engineering geology such as slope hazard assessment, analysis & remediation design, geological modelling of complex sites, assessment of foundation conditions, excavatibility & erodibility, and geomorphology & terrain evaluation

Managing and working within multi-disciplinary teams

Business development and client management

Planing, managing and implementing field investigations, with specific emphasis on the characterisation of the engineering geology of sites

Project management and team leadership

The Person
The successful candidate will have 15 plus years relevant experience and hold a degree in Geology or Geological engineering, postgraduate qualifications in engineering geology would be advantageous. Candidates will have specialist technical ability in the geological characterisation of sites for a wide range of projects including tunnelling, dams, foundations, and underground and surface excavations. Experience in the use of geological data analysis, mapping and 3-D visualisation software would also be an advantage.
