The opportunity exists to join the Carbon Energy team and we are seeking candidates with drive and commitment to go above and beyond what is expected to ensure that Carbon Energy objectives and goals are achieve and exceeded.

Reporting directly to the General Manager - Technical Services, you will be involved in the design, construction and commissioning of UCG syngas production facilities both within Australia and overseas.

Key Responsibilities include:
Develop UCG panel specifications to implement agreed design concepts;
Manage the design and construction of facilities for UCG syngas production, including drilling, well completion, injection gas supplies, process instrumentation and syngas processing;
Commission UCG sites including initiation of gasification, optimization of syngas for specified uses, establish operational procedures which can be handed over to an operational team for whole of life production of the UCG site;
Work within defined budgets and schedules.
Experience & Skills Required:
Engineering Qualifications or equivalent with expertise in combustion, gasification, and gas processing;
Project Management of multidisciplinary engineering projects which incorporate aspects of mechanical, chemical, petroleum or mining engineering activities;
Demonstrated experience in providing solutions in new situations, with integration of multiple inputs to develop plant specifications and their construction and commissioning;
Development of standard operating procedures for whole of life plant operation.
