Our client is an industry leader in providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services to a range of industries both locally and internationally. With the growth in size and complexity of resource projects, our clients has the skills, experience and resources to ensure they are always staying ahead of their competitors in providing comprehensive services.

They urgently require the expertise of an experience Senior SMP Estimator to work on a major resource project based in Perth.

Key Position Accountabilities (but not limited to):

Production of economical project Cost Estimates for studies and tenders.
Preparation of bids, selection of vendors / sub-contractors and determining cost effectiveness.
Developing procedures for the preparation of estimates for green-field and brown-field developments.
Conducting studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or reductions.
Prepare rationale statements to support the estimate identifying areas of weakness or risk.
Participating in regular estimate reviews and development of the estimating system.
Preparing presentation / reporting formats for estimate information as required.
Participate and present estimates for per and corporate/client reviews.

To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have:

A minimum of 5 years Estimating experience in an EPCM environment.
Demonstrated experience within the Mining, Oil & Gas or Construction sectors.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a Trade background.
Knowledge of the Engineering and Construction processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency.
