We have an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Underground Mine Manager. The position is being offered as a 2 - 3 month contract and will require a First Class Mine Managers Ticket.
The company is a large, international mining group who have multiple mines in operation across Australia. They provide exposure to the latest mining techniques and leading-edge technology in addition to a network of highly experienced colleagues. This position will be responsible for the safe & efficient management of a complex underground mine, including the supervising of a large mining/technical team (approx 100). You will also be expected to meet targeted production levels through the effective management of the underground contractor.
The position will attract a highly attractive day rate that reflects the level of experience offered and there will be potential for this position to be offered permanently. To be considered, it is expected that you will offer a WA First Class Ticket, proven experience as an Underground Manager and the ability to start work immediately on a contract basis. A flexible FIFO roster will be available and those based interstate are encouraged to apply.
