THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide Senior Instrument Engineers reporting to the HUC Project Coordinator. Based offshore, 12 months (renewable) contract on 28/28 basis. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years of international oil & gas experience in Instrument Engineering offshore activities. Experience in Instrument offshore systems & commissioning, preparation of technical variation proposals. Experience of large multidiscipline projects, hook up and pre-commissioning procedures & standards. Former CIS experience and working in multinational diverse environments. Accountable for instrument aspects of the workscope and schedule. Will assist in technical preparation of responses to variations proposed by Contractor. Must demonstrate personal commitment to HSE by following RoK Statutory HSE Regulations and Corporate HSE Policy by applying Safety Management Systems and implementing the project HSE Policies and Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidates will have degree in Instrument Engineering. Must be familiar with Hook-up and pre-commissioning work scope and project standards. Must have excellent communication skills including fluent written and spoken English. Patience and skills to work closely with engineers from different cultures to develop technical interchange and understanding in both directions. Ability to resolve and respond to technical queries on site and liaise with design where necessary.
