Location: Camden, NJ, USA
Health and Safety Supervisor for a chemical manufacturing facility in the Camden, NJ area.

Responsibilities:

-> Develop, lead, organize and execute on a site basis company programs in health and safety that are effective in protecting the community, employees and property
-> Coordination of health and safety programs among on-site business divisions, providing guidance and consultation, auditing compliance to meet company specifications, health and safety policies, and the enhancing technical knowledge and awareness within the various divisions
-> Promotion of and safety considerations in engineered projects, hazards analysis and review techniques, guidance of operating personnel in matters of employee and engineering safety loss and prevention
-> Administer and implement new and innovative aggressive management programs

Requirements:

-> B.S Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field
-> Minimum 7 years in Health and Safety Management in the chemical industry
-> Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations relating to each discipline and a working knowledge of OSHA regulations
-> Broad experience based in the chemical industry safety programs, engineering and a thorough understanding of regulatory procedures and practices in areas of protection, work-place safety, and occupational health is required
-> Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) experience preferred
-> Experience in a Union chemical plant environment is preferred
