This highly regarded and global mining organisation is currently in full production with plans to increase the output of their resource in the next 2- 5 years. In order to ensure the effiiciences and therefore production is maximised they are looking to recruit an expert Senior Maintenance Planner to their team.

Strategic planning and continuous improvement. With a responsibility for the long term maintenance of all of the assets both fixed and mobile, the role requires a highly experienced maintenance planner with substantial experience in capital budget expenditure. You will manage operational databases in order to deliver the highest results possible for that expenditure.

You will be able to not only supervise a team of experienced planners but will also be able to communicate at the highest level and understand the commercial targets of the operation. An ability to utilise your skill to operate and manage the systems in place and subsequently take this through to long term continuous improvement targets across all maintenance services.

You will have significant experience in mobile mining equipment and could come form a trade background. Importantly you will be a very effective people manager and communicator. Experience with SAP or Ellipse is preferred.
