Basic Functions:
TAQA’s objective is to be a leader as a responsible global and takes its definition of CSR from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development; “CSR is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to the economic development, whilst improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families, as well as of the local community and society at large.” As a CSR/D&I Coordinator you will, in close relation with the global CSR Team, work to fulfill this ambitious goal. Your work will include a variety o f tasks such as;
Development and implementation of short- and long-range department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Evaluation, planning and management of possible projects and donation requests.
Organization and maintenance of a good relationship with different stakeholders such as NGO’s and local interest groups.
Increase employee knowledge of and participation in projects.
Promoting equality and diversity as a part of the culture of TAQA
Preferred Skills and Abilities, Experiences and Qualifications:
Good understanding of the environmental, social and ethical issues which face multi-national oil and gas companies.
Team building skills and ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills, e.g. friendly, effective relationship building, stakeholder management and ability to influence and persuade others.
Time and stress management skills – ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.
Organizational, analytical and problem solving skills – attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Experience in conducting financial and corporate research.
High level of drive and passion – strong commitment to progressive social change and activist experience is seen as a plus.
Excellent command of English (written and oral) and working knowledge.
Follow and respect the company’s policies, procedures and code of conduct.
BA degree or higher
