Wireless Engineer - Wireless/Telecom/Transport Systems

Location: New Orleans, LA, USA
Well established Engineering Corporation has an immediate need for an experienced Wireless Communications Engineer to complete installation drawing packages for various telecommunications transport systems.

Responsibilities:

-> Capital project design and development
-> Work with a team of designers and drafters to complete installation drawing packages for various telecommunications transport systems. Drawings will include system block diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack elevations and conduit / cable routing drawings
-> Will also write scope of work documents, equipment purchase specifications, and review vendor data sheets

Requirements:

-> B.S.E.E. and 5-7 years experience in the field of wireless communications, OR 10+ years experience in the field of wireless communications
-> Prior technical experience with microwave, cellular, fiber optic, and Two Way infrastructure is preferred
-> Travel throughout the Southeast U.S. will be required
