Out client is a global supplier of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets including transportation, facilities, environmental and energy.

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to support the already established team based in the busy Mackay office. In this role you will be actively involved in providing technical support and advice to the re-emerging industry and mining sector. You will assist in bidding and winning work in Central Queensland, manage projects, assist with proposal preparation, undertake structural design, prepare reports, prepare contracts and specifications and provide ongoing technical support to clients and projects.

This is a senior role and requires a recognised qualification in civil/structural engineering with a number of years proven consultancy experience in this field at this level, preferably in Australia. You will need to demonstrate technical competence, be self motivated and have the ability to work to deadlines. You will have sound problem solving skills, take accountability for assigned work and possess solid written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience.
