Responsibilities
The selected candidate will provide safety and health leadership, relationship building and support to our MinePro North South Central Operations. This includes administering the Safety Management Plan, providing all-level regulatory oversight, identifying best practices improvements and responding to any related issues. Other key functions include, but are not limited to:
* Providing daily consultation on hazard and risk sources and mitigation/control
*Developing monthly statistical performance reports
*Conduct MSHA/OSHA mandated health and safety training
*Initiating compliance inspections
Reviewing personal injury and property loss reports
Qualifications
Qualified candidates have one to three years experience with technical safety issues at a mine, construction site or in heavy equipment repair. Your must also have spent the same amount of time assessing risk, developing mitigation controls and training in procedures/programs as well as system measurement. A B.S or Mater's in Safety and Occupational Health is necessary.
