Our client is seeking a Mining Engineer for a position within their Technical Service team to run the production and short term planning activities at their open pit operation. Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for drill and blast design and liaising with supervisors to ensure quality of drilling and blast optimisation. Other key tasks will be planning and scheduling mine activities on a daily basis with associated reporting, and as such your computer skills will be of a high standard with mine planning packages. You will assist with short - med mine design and provide support to operational staff to ensure quality and safe running of the mine. This position is open to Engineers with a Bachelor of Mining Engineering and a minimum of 2 years in an operational position. Non Australian Residents will not be considered for this position. The role is offered on a residential basis only in an attractive, large, populated town and will attract significant company and personal benefits.
