Be part of one of the largest integrated energy projects in Queensland’s history. This multi-billion dollar investment will see coal seam gas (CSG) piped from world class fields to Gladstone where it will be converted to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Santos is embarking on a world first project to develop an LNG facility in Gladstone in partnership with PETRONAS, and this development will enable Santos to take coal seam gas to international gas markets.

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer you will be an integral member of the GLNG LNG Plant Team, you primary role is to Support the LNG Plant Project Engineering team in Brisbane.

Project Engineering Accountabilities

Ensuring the Plant Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Plant Risk Management Plan (RMP) are maintained current and complied with. Ensuring alignment within the LNG Plant team on plans and deliverables, and participate in regular Plant team meetings to review plans and deliverables. Support to the Engineering Team to ensure that LNG Plant engineering plans and deliverables align with the requirements of the Upstream, Pipeline, Port Development, EIS, EHS, Operations and LNG Marketing plans, by closely liaising with appropriate GLNG Team members in these areas. Monitoring LNG Plant technical risk management activities and reporting status monthly Ensure timely resolution of LNG Plant FEED Technical Requests for Information. Updating of the GLNG Decision Log system for Plant Expediting and reporting on the Project Assurance Actions Register. Cooperating with independent project review teams with respect to project governance Support the Senior Project Engineer with communications with the Integration Team Forum. Support the Senior Project Engineer in providing engineering and execution key performance data required for regular reporting to Management and Joint Venture Parties on LNG Plant FEED/EPC performance Capture and communicate LNG Plant lessons learned. Maintaining communication and reporting protocols and procedures between GLNG Functions and the LNG Plant Owners Team based in the LNG Plant FEED Contractor’s office in Houston; Facilitating knowledge transfer between Brisbane and the LNG Plant Owners Team in Houston Communication with GLNG Functions and the LNG Plant Team Communications with project stakeholders on project matters.
