We are currently recruiting a Senior Mining Engineer to become involved in mining and other civil based infrastructure projects throughout Queensland.
To be successful you will require a degree qualification, with previous open cut pit minig expereience, with a strong technical background. You will be resuired to provide support and advise to several departments including design, planning and scheduling.
We require the successful applicant to posses:
A working knowledge of open cut pit mining.
A desire and ability to maintian safe working environmen for employees.
A high level of communication skills oral, written and interpersonal.
An accurate and detail abitity to provide reporting requirements..
An understanding of the tender procedure and practice in a similar environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Review and implement mine plansMonitor performance against the relevant schedules.Provide support and training to other personnel as required Supervise and manage resources of the complete project.Maintain and monitor quality systems, environmental management plan, and other relevant standards and leislationLiase with government bodies and local community groups.
An extremely attractive salary package, which will be negotiated on application based on relevant experience.
