Sales Manager - Sales/Lighting/International

A leading solid state lighting and power conversion company in south central New York has a ground floor opening for a International Sales and Business Development Manager. Excellent growth opportunity with a stable, growing privately held company.Excellent company benefits and relocation assistance are provided.

Responsibilities:

-> Establish Yearly sales forecasts and goals by distributors, representatives and region
-> Develop long term relationships with international customers
-> Visit customers. distributors and representative as needed with a goal to visit all major accounts once per year. Up to 6 international trips per year are expected
-> Attend and exhibit at industry trade shows and conventions
-> Continuously maintain familiarity with industry developments, trends, and new company products

Requirements:

-> A minimum of a four year degree in marketing or electrical engineering or equivalent. An MBA is preferred
-> Five years industry-related inside/outside sales experience required
-> Demonstrated capability in successful sales and marketing strategy for international product launch
-> Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills required
-> Demonstrated project management skills required
