Freight/Transport/Supply Chain Progressive Market Leading Company Hands on Senior Sales & Operations Role - $200K +
Our client are well respected and regarded in the WA marketplace and due to increased marketing activities require an experienced, energetic business development manager to grow the organisation in Perth. The client have been in the sector for a number of decades and have grown to be key partners with major clients in the mining and resource sectors offering specialised transport, warehousing and distribution services.

In this hands on role your main goal will be to maintain and grow current key accounts whilst actively sourcing new business opportunities in various sectors. You will oversee tenders and quotes and liaise with existing customers and also drive the growth of the business statewide. You will be required to build and develop existing markets including mining, oil, gas and construction sector clients. This role reports to the senior management board and as such you will be required to present on company forecasts, budgets, margins and growth.

To be considered suitable for this rewarding role you will have the following key strengths;

Proven business development track record in WA with a high profile freight/logistics/supply chain organisation. Ideally relevant sales experience selling to the resource industries.Passion for sales and developing new long term business opportunities. Broad knowledge within specialised transport, warehousing and distribution. Professional approach and demeanour. Strong commercial business acumen. Solid negotiation skills. Some operational and commercial management experience. Some financial experience regarding margins, budgets and forecasts.In return for your well rounded skill set we can offer a generous negotiable base salary ($200k) + FM Car, Super + Bonus.
