A corporation engaged in gold mining and related activities is ACTIVELY SEEKING a Senior Mining Engineer for an full time employment opportunity in NV.

Responsibilities:

-> Supervision of Engineers and Engineering Technicians
-> Optimization of shovel/truck fleets, equipment selection as well as simulation and cost modeling
-> Resource and reserve modeling and documentation
-> Design of long term dump and reclamation plans
-> Provides support for permitting of new mining areas
-> Take active approach in ensuring the health and safety of all employees in accordance with all regulatory agencies as well as the policies, procedures and goals of the company

Requirements:

-> BS degree in Mine Engineering or equivalent
-> At least 5-10 years mining experience
-> Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills
-> MineSight experience preferred, however, superior skills in MS Office and AutoCad are required
-> Excellent planning, time organization and problem solving skills
-> Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
-> Proven safety performance
