Field Service Engineer - Pumps/Repair/Installation

Location: Colchester, VT, USA
A client located in the state of Vermont has an Immediate Need for a Field Service Engineer with 2 year experience in the field service of rotating equipment. Salary listed is the minimum; your desired salary for this position is required for the client to evaluate your resume.

Responsibilities:

-> Work on pumps, motors, turbines, and other miscellaneous equipment
-> Travel to customer sites for up to 75% of a year
-> Analyze customer equipment and advise possible fixes and repairs
-> Advise customers on installation, removal and repair of equipment
-> Supervise costumer personnel performing work on equipment

Requirements:

-> 4 year technical degree or equivalent technical experience
-> Minimum 2 yeas experience in field service of rotating equipment
-> Minimum 2 years experience interfacing with customers
-> Ability to read blueprints and be proficient in use of machine shop measuring tools
-> Preferred -- Prior experience of repair of equipment in fossil and nuclear power plants
-> Must have clean driving record, must pass a background check, must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
-> Able to lift 35 lbs from floor to bench and able to stand for extended periods of time
