With a strong local, national and international presence they currently have an unsurpassable Consulting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to join their Newcastle based operations. Offering the chance to spread your expertise across a diverse range of projects, you will be responsible for a variety of technically challenging operations across both underground and open cut mines.
As a Senior Mining Engineer it is expected that you will demonstrate expertise across:
Either XPAC, Surpac and Vulcan Software
Resource Modelling
Planning and Scheduling
Capital and Cost estimations
Pit and equipment optimisation
Drill & Blast Designs
Underground coal (Longwall/Board & Pillar) and open cut coal
Candidates will be able to effectively communicate at all levels from the ground up and present detailed and accurate reports within a timely manner.
