The Senior Mine Supervisor will work closely with the Technical Services Manager, Mine Manager and Geological staff to implement the Company's strategic mining plans. The individual must be a truly hands on mining type, with a proven ability to operate the mine equipment demonstrating correct mining practices. The mine is supported by a fleet of Caterpillar equipment and Terex excavators. The Senior Mine Supervisor uses a practical approach and implements leadership by example to allow the mining foremen and operators to appreciate and adopt proper mining techniques in the day to day activities of the mine. Immediate sub-ordinates will include the disciplines of open pit mine supervision.
SalaryR500k - R400k
An understanding of the mining targets, mining plans, and how best to achieve these targets at minimal cost. Previous CIS experience advantageous but not essential.
Medical Aid, pension + 13th Cheque
Experience 8+ yrs relevant exp
