Directs and leads the Safety (SHE) Training Section, responsible for all aspects of RasGas's Corporate SHE Training Programs, including but not limited to; establishing policies, procedures, development and delivery of core (mandatory) training programs, establishing skills & competency based training for Operations and critical skill tasks, assessment of effectiveness of all training programs, both internally and externally, stewardship of all Corporate SHE Internal & External Training records & retention, for all employees, contractors, visitors and Shareholder representatives.
Knowledge Skills and Experience: Must have strong managerial experience plus supervisory and mentorship skills. BS/MS college/university with professional training certification (A1 V1 Certification) or equivalent from an internationally recognised Safety Organization. Experience in Training environment specializing in the area of employee training, development and competence assurance technical and commercial knowledge related to the oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore for at least 10-15 years. Experience with working and taking a leadership role in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment essential; Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent oral & written communication skills
RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) is one of the premier integrated liquefied natural gas (LNG) enterprises in the world. Since its creation in 1993, RasGas has developed world class facilities for the extraction, storage, processing and export of LNG, and has entered into long term agreements to supply LNG to customers in Korea, India, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Taiwan and the United States of America. RasGas currently operates six LNG trains with 20.7 million tones per annum (Mta) of production capacity. It is expected that production will be approximately 37 Mta by 2009 with the completion of seven trains.
