THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Civil Structural Superintendent to coordinate / supervise construction activities related to Infrastructure Projects. Ensure associated Projects are handed over to clients according to schedule and procedures. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). Rotation 28/28. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
15 years work experience in Civil / Structural Discipline. Experience on International site Construction activities. Experience in an International Oil & Gas Industry. Raise Scopes of Works for Call Offs, Technical queries, Site instructions, Progress reporting. Assist in supervising, inspection and quality control of local Contractors during construction and ensure installations conform to all Standards. Ensure Contractors adhere to PTW systems. Must demonstrate a personal commitment to HSE by following Kazakhstan Statutory HSE Regulations, Clients Corporate HSE Policy, and applying Clients Safety Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Diploma in Civil / Structural Discipline. Knowledge of GOST and SNIP standards. Knowledge of the RoK Regulatory Approval and Licensing procedures. Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Kazakh / Russian a distinct advantage. Mentor and assist Local Staff in implementation of duties. Good interpersonal skills. Patience to work closely with engineers and contractors from different cultures, and develop technical interchange and understanding in both directions.
