Swift Oil and Gas is the leading supplier of manpower to the global Oil and Gas industry. We are actively seeking a Geological Advisor for our client, a global energy company, to work in their Houston office.
Summary:
Technical/Business Knowledge
Screen exploration opportunities
Structural Geology
Tectonic Settings
Seismic Interpretation/ Seismic Facies/ Seismic Stratigraphic analysis
Resource and Risk Estimation
Reservoir quality and petrophysics
Must be able to generate high quality prospect maps
Solid exploration in one or two of the following areas: Middle East, Africa, Australia, South America, Asia
Qualifications:
• 15 years of related Geoscience experience in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics. Masters preferred
