* $110K - $135K + Super

This is a rare opportunity to join a project with an outstanding reputation for developing careers as well as providing a highly challenging geological environment. The existing management team has established a stable team of experienced mining professionals and this role provides a rare chance to join the Underground Resource Definition team.

The position, Underground Project Geologist, will report to the Senior Geologist and will be responsible for managing all resource & infill drilling across existing operations. There will be a clear focus on ensuring that future production forecasts can be achieved and this will involve the following duties:

* Drill program design, scheduling and management
* Ongoing reporting of drill results - daily, weekly & monthly
* Resource definition wire framing
* Supervision of drilling contractor and geology/geotech staff
* Some core logging, sampling and mapping

The role will require previous experience in an underground environment, including a focus on resource development projects. You will also need to display the following:

* Tertiary Qualifications in Geology
* Strong computer literacy - Vulcan or Surpac essential
* Experience with planning & supervising resource drilling
* Exceptional communication and organisations skills

The position involves working on an attractive FIFO roster (ex-Perth) and it will attract a salary in the range of $110K - $135K + Super.
