Our client is one of the largest specialised railway engineering and project management companies that provide EPCM services to the resources and mining industries. They are currently seeking an experienced Track/ Rail Superintendent to join their vibrant team in moving forward.

Based on site on a FIFO roster and reporting to the Project Manager, you will be required to provide supervision over the rail track construction and as such your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

* The planning, quality monitoring, coordination, field supervision and related rail track construction management capabilities.
* Ensure compliance with the Mines Safety & Inspection Act 1994 or OHS Act as applicable by all personnel on site
* Weekly Progress reporting and monitoring of contractor's work to ensure compliance and project requirements are being met.
* Ensure continuous review of all rail track drawings and specifications to be up-to-date and most recent and troubleshoot any necessary on-site construction issues.
* Identify resources/ manpower and adequate equipment requirements to ensure project is completed within the projected time and budgetary constraints

To be considered fort this role, the successful candidate MUST have:

* 10 years + experience in heavy Construction or Rail sites in Mining and Iron Ore within an EPCM environment.
* Experience in supervising and managing subcontractors in execution of works.
* Strong commitment to Quality and Safety.
* Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline is desirable
* Relevant work history in Western Australia
